CANDY CAMPFIRE COOKIES.

THESE COOKIES ARE LIT.

Every Fall I make Campfire Brownies and they usually sell out first. So when a City Mama came to me needing a party favor worthy cookie, I immediately thought about turning my Campfire Brownie into a cookie because good things come in pairs. No need to bring a match because these cookies are fire. (Mom joke mode activated.)

CANDY CAMPFIRE COOKIES

MAKES 13 COOKIES.

OVEN TEMP : 325 DEGREES

PREP TIME:10 MINS

BAKE TIME:13-16 MINS

2 STICKS OF BUTTER

1 1/2 CUPS OF BROWN SUGAR

2 EGGS

1 TSP VANILLA EXTRACT

3 CUPS OF FLOUR

1 TSP BAKING SODA

1/2 TSP SALT

1/2 CUP CHOCOLATE CHIPS

1/2 CUPS OF CHOPPED SNICKERS BAR PEICES

1/2 CUPS OF PEANUT BUTTER CUP PEICES

1/2 CUPS OF MARSHMALLOWS

Pre-heat your oven to 325 degrees.

Then mix the BUTTER, BROWN SUGAR, EGGS & VANILLA until throughly incorporated.

In a separate bowl, mix FLOUR, BAKING SODA & SALT.

Then combine them.

Be sure not to over-mix your batter - over-mixing results in tough cookies.

Throw in your CHOCOLATE, BUT NOT THE MARSHMALLOWS!

Marshmallows can't stay fluffy in a hot oven for long. You'll know when the cookies are done when they look like they are ready to eat.

Some people like super soft or super crispy cookies. I like that sweet spot between soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside, so I usually cook mine for about 14 mins. Be sure to keep an eye on them because every oven is different!

When they are ready to come out, pop the marshmallows down in the still soft cookie. They will not only taste great, they will also make the cookie picture perfect .

Let them cool and transfer to a wire rack if you have one.

EAT & REPEAT.
